Locanda Chiaravalle

Milan is at once both dense and diffuse, and you don’t need to drive long or far to get to what appears to be the countryside. Located right next to the Abbey of Chiaravalle, the Locanda Chiaravalle is a Michelin-rated restaurant with the shape and feel of an old farmhouse. 

We came here for lunch with one of Daniele’s friends, and by the end of our meal, we were all talking about how we would be back. The food here is simple, surprisingly affordable, and absolutely delicious. And just look at that gorgeous light all over the place!
