Camogli

If you're in Liguria and feel like taking a trip to the beach, go to Camogli. Unlike the Cinque Terre or the more popular towns nearby like Portofino or Portovenere, Camogli is almost entirely full of actual Italians. You can even find decent parking without all too much trouble.

Camogli is a perfect spot to spend a day relaxing in the sun, swimming, or with a book and some gelato. Pick up some fish from the market (it is a fishing town, after all), or find a place to eat some pasta with Ligurian pesto. All those beautiful colored, Genoan buildings, without the tourists. Except for you.
